I did not live open notorious life and that cowles lies      he a dirty mean skamp to lies the way he did to me      he told me he do his Best to get my Pension for he thought I deserved it for my hand leek[1] so I work hard to get a honest living      I got a letter from some Party last week and said it may no difrence if I live with 40 men as long as I did not Marry them      about geting my Pension there was no name sing to it so I dont know who sent it      I supose he fill it out to suite him self and I did not keep house 10 years      I went there in fall 1908 and left spring 1915 and I had vey little to do with him for he said I was to old      and he went out side I never went out on the street with him all the time I was there and never had anything to say what was Brough in the house to eat       I not got any thumb or forefinger on my left hand and my middle finger is Bent so I got only two finger that any good      what little mistake I made had not aught to make any difference when there is[2] right here live with men before they get Pension and are living with now and they not as old as I am      I past my 81 year and I getting so I not able to work But I have to for I got no home      my folks are all dead      I all alone in the world      so if you got any heart or sympathy for a poor old woman you certainy give me my Pension      supose it was your Mother       how would you feel if she was old am me      I have to work hard for 1 dollar a week and such working I have I colelaps some time      I supose the people would tell me that they did not want me But they know got nowhere to go to But the street      I got nothing to wear       you ought to see the dress I have to wear all Pacth and rag and I got no shoes      I wearing odd one one Bout and one lowshoe      I shall suffer this winter for the want of warm clothes for I can not Buy much with what little pay for ever thing so high      I can not buy any shoes so I have to go without them     the shoes I wearing I had 4 years But they are all gone now       so wont you please give me my Pension      you will if you got any heart at all for I did not do such a Bad mistake      and some right here now that file is a lie and {a} Big one        he add a good deal more than what was told him      he a alwul[3] liar I would not believe under oath       perhap I lied or some has[4] I got my Pension        But I to[5] the truth        I never live open for I alwas very close and I done very little in Proper act so for that reson I think you ought to over look it and give me my Pension         if I was 60 I would not ask for it But I 81       once I get work out I not sleep more 3 hours a night and I dont Eat        so wont you please give me my Pension        you will if you got any heart at all
