My dearest girl
It is with pleasure I attemp to answer your nice letter which came to hand yesterday and was real glad to hear from you yes it would be much nicer if we could talk instead of writing we could explain our selves much better I dont know what I would give if I could have a talk
with you instead of writing you say are you troubled about our case well I must say I have had trouble two but it has not bothered me quite as much in the last few month for I believed we had about settled the affair and so I had begun to feel better and you have begun to have trouble well we need not expect to always have sunshine in our lives but we can to some life exent help to keep in our life. life is full of changes.
I will promise you this much I will do all in my power to make you happy + life as much like sunshine as I can and if we will just try halfe as hard to please each other after we are as we have I dont see any reason why we should not always be happy do you Dear yes a while you did not give me much satisfaction at all but I am glad that you have at last decided
when we should marry well as you have set 30th
of December. we have been talking about it for over a year since you promised to be my wife one year last June yes this is solem106 question to consider I believe I have considered will and it is proper it should be for it is the turning point in our lives we are to be happy or we are to be miserable but I hope and have prayed we should be happy
and I believe we will be happy. I am glad you think that I will be all that is required of a husban + I can say the same about you I believe will kind nice gentle + loving wife and believe I shall be one of the hapiest men on earth I have no doubt what the love you have given me would have been prized highly by others. If no one else had thought
prize it is likely I would it is plain to be seen it is true I believe I have seen several girls I could have married but they did not exactly sent me and to tell the truth I did not have the right kind of love for them I will say and have before I never have had such love for any girl as I have for you yes I expect it will be cold and disagreeable x mas but we have been talking about it about long enough but if you had
rather wait until Spring just say so as for my selfe I had rather get married when you said 30 of December I will write your father in a day or two and if you want to wait it wont be nothing out of the way to write him and you decide to marry x mas it will just about wastime enough for us to get ready. I expect I will write him tomorrow or next day so you can be expecting him to talk to you about
it. I just know Mr J T Cunduff will teas your father when he hears I have asked for you I wrote you I had bough a house and lot + I believe it is my dutie to tell you it is not all paid for yet. But if I keep my health I can soon pay for it. Well I must of close
write soon for your
true boy,
